An intimate Golden, Colorado wedding

Some weddings are grand celebrations, while others are beautifully simple and deeply personal. America and Lance chose the latter for their intimate wedding in Golden, Colorado, surrounded by breathtaking mountain views, open fields, and the people (and puppy!) they love most.

With the iconic Colorado foothills creating a stunning backdrop, every detail of their day reflected their personalities. One of my favorite touches was the bride and her bridesmaids wearing cowgirl boots, adding a fun Western flair that felt perfectly at home in the Colorado landscape.

When it came to florals, America knew she wanted sunflowers, but we wanted to give this classic bloom a unique twist. Instead of traditional yellow varieties, I designed her bouquet with gorgeous Strawberry Blonde Sunflowers, featuring warm shades of blush, peach, rose, and gold. These blooms paired beautifully with the natural mountain setting and added a romantic, one-of-a-kind touch to her wedding flowers.

One of the sweetest moments of the day was capturing portraits with the couple’s beloved dog, who happily joined them for photos beneath the stunning Rocky Mountain views. It was a reminder that the most memorable weddings are often the ones that celebrate what matters most—love, family, and the little details that make a couple's story unique.
